PRINCIPLES

SurgiColl’s goal is to publish the highest quality manuscripts focused on surgical specialties.

In order to secure publication, manuscripts must pass a rigorous single-blinded peer review process that focuses on the manuscript’s objective qualities and not potential subjective impact.

There is no maximum or minimum rejection rate and each submission is reviewed based on its own merit and quality.

Several participants in the peer review process work collaboratively to deliver a high quality manuscript with the goal to advance the surgical specialties in a timely manner.

Editorial Managers

Editorial Managers organize the peer review process, assess for language, determine statistical validity, and facilitate the publication of the manuscript.

In order to secure publication, manuscripts must pass a rigorous single-blinded peer review process by a minimum of two reviewers, where the reviewers are aware of the names and affiliations of the authors, but the reviewer reports provided to authors are anonymous. The peer review focuses on the manuscript’s objective qualities and not potential subjective impact.
